Bison Builders has been crafting exceptional custom homes throughout the Pikes Peak Region since being founded by Doug Bandle in 1978. Doug’s passion for building is evident in the intricate detail that goes into every Bison home. With 28 years of experience in the local construction industry, Doug has long-standing relationships with every subcontractor and supplier involved in the home building process. Their loyalty to Doug ensures his clients timely home delivery, each built to the highest quality standards. During the past three decades Bison Builders has participated in the Parade of Homes in five locations, and is currently building in Cathedral Pines (2006 Parade site), High Forest Ranch, King’s Deer, and other premier neighborhoods. Soon to come is Bison Meadows, an exclusive custom lot and custom home community consisting of seven 5-acre custom lots located in heavily-treed Black Forest.

Bison Builders will work from your existing home plans or help design your dream-home from scratch, and we’ll tailor the design and construction of your home to fit your desires. We also take great pride in delivering every custom home on schedule, on budget. Bison builds in El Paso County and in nearby counties as well, and can build on your custom lot or on one of several spectacular custom lots in Bison’s inventory.
